"I thought you might enjoy seeing some of the fish I could catch on the fly rods you made for me. I used the 6 some but mostly used the 8 weight. Both were fabulous. Could not have been better. In fact, there were two rods broken on this trip by fish. Not mine. Great trip. We floated one of the upper Salmon river branches then into the Aniak River. 92 mile trip over 6 1/2 days. I caught 30 plus silver salmon in the 12 to 15 lb. range. Two 24" wild rainbows with 13 1/2" girth. Maybe 100 or more fish altogether. Thanks again for the great rods."
